The UV transparency, chemical inertness, and refractive and dielectric properties of CyclAFlor amorphous fluoropolymers are desirable for many applications in semiconductors and electronics.  CyclAFlor Clear is used as an insulator and protective coating for UV LED and microLED emitters, as well as to protect photomasks in semiconductor manufacturing.  Clear can also serve as the dielectric layer in etalon films, which are used in telecommunications and a broad array of optical applications.
